Private boat trip from Split and Brač: Blue Cave

Dare to take a private boat trip from Split and Brač and embark on an adventure exploring the magic of the Blue Cave!

Our crew will help you get comfortable on the boat, and after about an hour of pleasant speedboat ride, you will be greeted by the raw nature of Biševo, the most remote inhabited Croatian island.

The island of Biševo is composed entirely of porous limestone. Due to the permanent work of the open sea and strong winds, the island has over 20 caves. The most popular among them is the Blue Cave – the highlight of the tour.

The best time to visit the cave is during the morning hours when the colors are most vivid. The Blue Cave is equally beautiful all year round, and if you decide to skip the high season and visit the cave during April and May, or perhaps late September and October, you’ll still be able to enjoy the striking hues of the blue-lit chambers.

Trip plan

07:30 - 08:00 Boarding and start of the boat trip

Boat trip from Split and Brač: We start the tour of the Blue Cave after boarding passengers from our two locations:

07:30 – Departure to Split
08:30 – Departure from Milna, island of Brač

Sailing and visiting the Blue Cave on the island of Biševo

The Blue Cave is our first destination where you have the opportunity to tour and explore its interior.

24 meters long, 12 meters wide, the cave got its name from the sparkling azure blue color that illuminates the cave walls. The magic is created by the action of sunlight that enters at a certain angle through an underwater entrance, reflecting a dazzling blue color from the crystal white seabed.

Komiža

After discovering the charms of the Blue Cave, we sail towards Komiža on the island of Vis.
There we have a short break where you can explore the town of Komiža, eat breakfast or drink coffee on the historical promenade.

Stiniva bay

Stiniva Bay used to be a cave, and its remains can be seen today in the form of two large cliffs that encompassed a pebble beach.

Today, the bay is not as quiet and peaceful as it used to be, and due to the increased number of sightseeing boats, swimming in it is not recommended for safety reasons.

Fortunately, Dalmatia is full of paradise locations for swimmers, and the next location on our boat tour will surely leave you breathless.

Blue Lagoon

Imagine the most interesting shades of blue and green intertwined under the bright sun. The shallow sea so transparent and clean will make you feel relaxed like never before!
The blue lagoon of the island of Budikovac makes this fantasy come true and is very well sheltered from the hustle and bustle of urban life and is only accessible by private boat.

In the Blue Lagoon, our break will be focused on swimming, diving and relaxing under the sun.

On board we have our diving equipment ready for you if you dare to dive into the most beautiful turquoise blue you can imagine.

Sailing around the "Pakleni otoci" archipelago

The Pakleni Islands (Paklinski Islands) are an archipelago of 20 islands near the island of Hvar.

The largest and most prominent is the island of St. Clement, home to a stunning botanical garden with more than 100 species of plants brought to the island from all over the world by members of the Meneghello family.

Visit to the island of Hvar

On our final destination, visit the sunniest island that never sleeps. Once you step out onto the busy promenade and look around, it’s not hard to see why Hvar is classified as one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world.

To begin with, we suggest a short walk to St. Stephen’s Square. Then if you’re feeling adventurous enough, climb up the Fortica fortress to enjoy the impressive view.
On the way back, if you wish, stop at a small shop with a rich lavender scent and treat yourself to a small bottle of locally made lavender scented oil. Lavender is another thing the island is famous for and the reason why the island smells exceptional during June and July when the gorgeous aroma of the lush fields fills the air.

If swimming and sunbathing have taken their toll on your stomach, our crew will be happy to recommend excellent Dalmatian restaurants and pastry shops that make the best ice creams.

Or simply find a cozy spot in the main square and soak up the burning energy and a little more sun before heading back!

Return to the port of departure

After visiting the island of Hvar, it’s time to go back.

We end the boat trip by returning to Brač around 17:30 and returning to Split around 18:15
